Letter from the Editor

Sheryl Hardin

The new year is always a time of new beginnings and change.  My own family is welcoming Isabelle Grace, my beautiful new granddaughter to the family.  For Isabelle everything is new.  She has all her choices in front of her and looking at her, I see pure potential.  She faces the world with the courage of the innocent.  There will be so many new things for her to try.

I am already learning from her and trying new things.  This month, I was fortunate to be invited to do a radio interview.  I talked with Bonnie Coleen, host of Seeing Beyond on KEST radio in San Francisco about the Spiritual Writer's Association and the value of grouping up to support each other on our literary journeys.  Together we can do so much more than we can do alone.

We have many new things to look forward to in the months to come.  We are adding more sites to our market watch page all of the time so don't forget to check it out.  Soon, member authors will be able to market their books from this site as well.  Before the year is over, we will have our own online book store to give our members a chance to sell their books because we are so proud of the work you do.  As the months roll by we will roll out new features meant to support you.

In the mean time, I am learning more and more about marketing as I promote my book  Contacting God: The Path to God through Prayer from my publisher.  I am excited to share that experience with you.  I invite you to share your experiences, your work, and your dreams with the rest of the group as well.  Use the blog to get online support from other writers.  Submit articles and stories.  Make this year your year to make your dreams come true.

Thought for the Month

I Am Unique

Maryann Leslie

I am original. I am an extraordinary human being with amazing super powers.  When I smile, the world smiles with me.  Laughter becomes music to my ears. My eyes behold the beauty of an ordinary day.  My eyes behold the beauty of an ordinary day.  My positive attitude gives others a boost of energy and I feel energized with I encourage and inspire other.

I AM Unique because I choose to be.

Mary Ann Leslie, creator of I Affirmations recommends daily doses of positive affirmations as a way to develop a more positive attitude, achieve a general state of cheerfulness, and bring about a sense of well-being. Mary Ann also believes that maintaining a positive attitude and expressing more positive thoughts improves relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and others one may know and meet throughout the course of each day.
